To prepare the chocolate sauce, break the chocolate into smaller chunks and place into a microwave proof container. Transfer over to the microwave set at medium heat for 1 minute at a time. Stir the chocolate every minute and repeat until chocolate is completely melted. Mix the cream through and set aside to cool.
Trim a hot plate liner to your BBQ hot plate and preheat the BBQ to a high heat. Using tongs, place the bananas on the hot plate, flesh side down, for 1 minute until caramelised. Flip and repeat on the other side. Remove from heat.
To serve, place two banana halves on a plate, topped with a generous scoop of vanilla ice-cream, scattered blueberries and drizzled with chocolate sauce.
